Summary
OwePath only aims to use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, app functionality and payment checkout. We do not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies or remarketing pixels.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and other browser storage used by websites and apps. These technologies can help keep you signed in, remember session state and operate secure app features.
Strictly necessary cookies and storage
OwePath may use strictly necessary cookies or browser storage for:
- account sign-in and authentication;
- security and session management;
- remembering whether a user is signed in;
- protecting the app against misuse;
- basic product functionality, navigation and access controls;
- remembering local interface preferences such as theme where applicable.
Analytics and advertising cookies
We do not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, behavioural tracking cookies or similar non-essential tracking technologies. If this changes, this notice will be updated and consent controls will be added where required.
Third-party services
Some services used to operate OwePath may set or rely on necessary cookies or similar technologies. These may include authentication, hosting and security services such as Supabase and Vercel. Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies for checkout, payment processing and fraud prevention when users enter Stripe checkout.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies using your browser settings, but parts of OwePath may not work properly if strictly necessary authentication or security storage is disabled.
